Cloud computing and digital convergence is very different with each other. Cloud computing is actually web services and digital convergence is related to data. so there is no impact of it on Cloud Computing.

I bought a Superstack II Switch 3300 Model 3C16980 a while back at a garage sale for like $10. I’m a compulsive tech buyer, if it’s a steal. Problem is, it’s been stored for the entire time I’ve had it and I don’t really have any use for it. So I’m asking for some ideas, so I can find a use for it.
I do have about 3 older computers that are just sitting around. I plan to install ubuntu on one and use it as a Ventrilo or Teamspeak Server and for Skype. I have yet to find a use for the others. I might try my hand at setting up Cloud Computing but i’m not sure yet.
So any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
He should have a good grip of SOA technologies and good networking skills. He should be ready for a new model of development as his app, web and db servers are all to be intertwined in the cloud. So the level of expertise lies heavily on the knowledge one has on the app development on the data-centers. Full recovery cycle has to be kept in mind before any developments are thought to be taken up.
